Superbly restored property with garden and terraces set at the edge of a picturesque village nestled in the olive groves and with stunning views to Pisa and the sea of the Tuscan coastline.

The property is situated at the top of the village with private car parking. Currently divided into three independent homes, it offers flexibility for home and income, or it can be used as one beautiful home. Entrance is into a farmhouse-style kitchen opening onto a terrace, dining room, living room with fresco ceilings and fireplace, two bedrooms and bathroom; upstairs the attic area has been converted with great flair and has an open plan living room-dining room, spacious kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom; the lower ground floor hosts a large cantina and pizza oven and another recently restored apartment with open living room/ kitchenette, bathroom, two bedrooms and a marvelous outdoor space with sea view.

There is a covered loggia overlooking the private, terraced garden. The gently terraced garden surrounds the house, which is most welcoming and offers the possibility of a swimming pool (subject to planning). The house is accessed easily on a good road and it is surrounded by greenery and olive trees. Central heating and all services connected, including wifi. There is a good restaurant within walking distance of the villa.

This lovely village has cobbled lanes and interlinking arches with olive clad hillsides and woodland for some beautiful walks through the countryside. There is a shop and cafe in the village and the nearby village of Calci has a selection of shops, restaurants and a nice patisserie. Excellent location with hill walks and pathways from the village to the surrounding hills through the olive groves. The cultural centres of Tuscany are all within easy reach.

Calci lies at the foot of the Monti Pisani, a small mountain range which divides Pisa from Lucca, in the green Valgraziosa valley. This mountain is dotted with historical villages, medieval castles and Romanesque churches and it is characterised by terraced olive groves. The town is on the slopes of the Monti Pisani, on the side which faces Pisa. The area is full of marked walking trails with spectacular views towards the sea and the mild climate means that great trekking is available year round. Of particular interest in Calci is the Calci Charterhouse, the Certosa di Pisa, which is a monumental Baroque building, once a Carthusian monastery and now housing an important Natural History Museum with the collection from the University of Pisa.

The Monti Pisani are well known for the high quality extra virgin olive oil and there are many opportunities to sample and purchase this local speciality. The spectacular Chestnut Festival takes over Calci each year in October when it is possible to taste hand-prepared traditional chestnut cake, as well as a host of other great local produce. Calci has a selection of shops, excellent restaurants and a nice patisserie. This is a truly excellent location. The cultural centres of Tuscany are all within easy reach, with Lucca just 20 minutes and Pisa airport in a very short hop. There is the famous ancient thermal spa at San Giuliano Terme reachable in only 10 minutes. The elegant town of Lucca with beautiful piazzas and spectacular surrounding walls, is on your doorstep. Lazy summer days at the anfiteatro, or cycling around the ancient city walls, or an evening at the many concerts of the Lucca Summer Festival are just waiting to be enjoyed. The Leaning Tower, the River Arno and all the other beauties of Pisa are almost within touching distance. All the art, architecture and treasures of Tuscany are within easy reach to be admired time after time.
